Rockwell Collins has drawn upon over 30 years of experience in moving map technology to enhance its Airshow offering, resulting in Airshow Mobile 2. This application provides real-time flight data from take-off to landing within an interactive 3D environment, aimed at keeping passengers both informed and entertained.

The app's key features include:
<ul>
 <li>High-definition satellite 3D maps that showcase the surrounding world beyond the cabin.</li>
 <li>An Autoplay cycle that presents a predefined sequence of map views, adaptable to different phases of flight.</li>
 <li>Interactive navigation allows users to roam, zoom, and explore the globe in detail.</li>
 <li>Customizable settings and layers provide users with options for personalizing the map's display.</li>
 <li>Convenient flight information includes data such as estimated time of arrival and current flight speed.</li>
 <li>Command Center, which consolidates maps and flight details into a single interface, with easy swiping capabilities between various views.</li>
 <li>Selectable map views range from Flight Preview and Total Route to Mid Flight, Time Zone Globe, and World Clocks.</li>
 <li>Windows Seat feature offers a perspective from the cockpit or from either side window seats, including a Heads Up Display for visualizing aircraft movements during flight. The Panorama feature in this mode enables users to tilt their device to experience a 360-degree view akin to looking through a transparent cabin.</li>
 <li>Portrait Mode, which allows quick access to flight progress and other essential aircraft information when the device is rotated from landscape to portrait orientation.</li>
</ul>

It is important to note that Airshow Mobile 2 requires integration with a companion Airshow system to provide real-time aircraft flight data. Additionally, the aircraft's Flight Management System must supply pitch and roll information for the Heads Up Display feature. Devices must also support multicast or broadcast capabilities, as well as contain an accelerometer and gyroscope to utilize the Panorama functionality.
